Summer arrived suddenly this year. The barren trees turned a lush green in a few short days after a good spring soaking had nourished them. Now the sun is high, the birds are loud, and the squirrels run the fence tops in gangs of four and five. The air smells of lilac and hot asphalt.
I love summer.
Renewal is in the air and I am ready to transform, to grow, to enter a new phase, to embrace the light and warmth and live my summer to the fullest.
