This Monday, play time is over. I’m returning to work.
Gone are the days of relaxation, chillin, doing nothing all day and having more free time than I know what to do with.
Of course, if you’re a stay at home parent (heck, even if you’re not) you know I’m totally kidding. I’ll be the first to admit that staying at home with my kids is one of the toughest things I’ve ever done. And in the same breath I’d tell you it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. I don’t regret a single day of the past 4 years in the least. I’ve been here for all of their firsts – their first words, first steps, first songs, first crafts, etc…
Why then do I feel so incredibly guilty?... More...
