When you do something over and over again – repeatedly you tend to lose touch with the nuances that are in what you’re doing.
Whether it’s making dinner, changing diapers, grocery shopping, bathing the kids, waiting for your spouse or significant other, over time we lose sight of what we’re doing and the inherent beauty of what’s around us.
Breathe.
Take it slow.
Pay attention.
Observe.
Immerse yourself in what you’re doing. Don’t think of it as a chore or as something you can’t wait to be over. Love every aspect of it.
See what you’re doing through fresh eyes. What was it like the first time you did this or were in this situation?
