Kate Winslet is taking a stand for natural beauty by starting an “anti-cosmetic surgery league.“  It’s a bold move for an actress working in a field dominated by youthful beauty.  I admire her decision to define beauty within the context of life experience, embracing her beauty in each present moment.

How far is too far? We might color our hair, glue on our nails and laser our unmentionables …  but at what point does beauty maintenance and enhancement cross-over into altering our God-given beauty.  At just 33 years old, it’s an easy call for me to make.  Check back with me when I’m 73.  I hope we’ll find that I’m still content with the way God made me – without succumbing to social pressures and invasive surgeries.  In the end,...
